Norwood Systems (ASX:NOR) executed an agreement for a $285,000 paid platform pilot with a major United Kingdom telecommunications provider.
This new commercial project contrasts with a stable baseline share price of $0.01 observed earlier this month.
“This paid pilot provides us with a chance to demonstrate OpenSpan,” said Norwood Systems Founder and CEO, Paul Ostergaard.
The contract fees are payable in instalments commencing later this month based on achieving specific project milestones.
Following the announcement, the Norwood Systems share price was up at $0.024.
The business designed its software platform to integrate into networks without requiring complex technical overheads.
Industry analysts forecast that global telecommunications spending on artificial intelligence will reach $42 billion by 2034.
