
Sandfire Resources posts record quarterly sales of $574M
- Sandfire Resources reported record quarterly sales revenue of $574 million as copper equivalent production jumped 38% in Q4 FY26.
- Net cash reached $353 million at June 30, shifting from a net debt position of $123 million a year earlier.
- Operational performance at MATSA and Motheo supported new FY27 copper equivalent production guidance of 150 to 166 kilotonnes.
Sandfire Resources (ASX:SFR) generated record quarterly sales revenue of $574 million following a 38% increase in fourth-quarter copper equivalent production.
The quarterly output of 47.6 kilotonnes lifted annual production to 154.2 kilotonnes, meeting management's full-year target range.
“Our talented people delivered a 38% increase in copper equivalent production in the June quarter to comfortably achieve annual guidance,” said Sandfire CEO Brendan Harris.
Sandfire stated that fourth-quarter underlying EBITDA reached $343 million, turning a $123 million net debt position into $353 million in net cash.
Following the announcement, the Sandfire share price was up at $18.69.
The miner achieved record mill processing volumes at its MATSA facility in Spain while expanding production at Motheo in Botswana.
Sandfire invested $12 million across regional exploration and near-mine drilling programmes during the period to expand its future resource pipeline.
