ARK Invest said the global crypto market could expand to $28 trillion by 2030, driven mainly by Bitcoin adoption and price growth.
The forecast implies a 61% compound annual growth rate for digital assets over the period.
ARK said Bitcoin could account for about 70% of the total market value.
With roughly 20.5 million Bitcoin expected to be mined by 2030, ARK said prices could approach $950,000 to $1 million.
“Bitcoin is maturing as the leader of a new institutional asset class,”
ARK Invest said.
The firm noted that Bitcoin ETFs and corporate holders increased their share of Bitcoin supply from 8.7% to 12% in 2025.
ARK said decentralised finance, tokenised real-world assets and smart contract platforms will also fuel growth.
Ethereum and Solana were highlighted as key beneficiaries of expanding smart contract adoption.
ARK estimated smart contract platforms could grow to $6 trillion by 2030 at a 54% CAGR.
The report also forecast that tokenised real-world assets could reach $11 trillion by the end of the decade.
