Cardano rises 10% as Dijkstra planning begins
- Cardano rose nearly 10% in 24 hours to about US$0.189 as preparations began for the network's Dijkstra development era.
- ADA remains about 94% below its September 2021 record high of US$3.09 despite the latest daily increase.
- Intersect said Dijkstra preparations include Nested Transactions, Linear Leios and Peras as Cardano develops its scalability roadmap.
Cardano (CRYPTO) rose nearly 10% in 24 hours to about US$0.189 as preparations began for the network's Dijkstra era.
The move followed Cardano's 18 July van Rossem hard fork, which upgraded the protocol to Version 11.
Intersect said the Dijkstra programme includes Nested Transactions, Linear Leios and Peras, with development planned across multiple phases.
The Haskell node team is targeting Nested Transactions and Linear Leios for mainnet by the end of 2026, according to Intersect.
Cardano's van Rossem upgrade introduced changes covering Plutus performance, ledger consistency and node security before work shifted towards Dijkstra.
Despite the latest increase, ADA remains about 94% below its September 2021 record high of US$3.09.
At the time of reporting, Cardano price was $0.1889.
