Ondo Finance launches faster blockchain trading network
- Ondo Finance has launched the Ondo Network to speed up blockchain trading.
- The network aims to deliver exchange-like speeds while users keep control of their assets.
- Ondo Finance said the platform will help bring more financial markets onto blockchain technology.
Ondo (CRYPTO:ONDO) developer Ondo Finance has launched the Ondo Network, a blockchain platform built to deliver trading speeds close to centralised exchanges.
The new network replaces Ondo Chain and already powers Ondo Perps, the company's perpetual futures trading platform.
"The result is a system that is both fast and decentralised, verifiable and private — exactly what trade execution requires," said Ondo Finance.
Ondo Finance said secure hardware processes trades first, while independent attestors verify each transaction before it reaches the blockchain.
Ondo Finance develops blockchain products for tokenised stocks, exchange-traded funds and other real-world assets.
The launch is part of Ondo Finance's plan to make blockchain trading faster and simpler for both retail and institutional investors.
At the time of reporting, Ondo price was $0.3905.
