Pump.fun has increased its token graduation rate after changing the incentives for launching memecoins on Solana (CRYPTO:SOL).

More tokens are now reaching Raydium, allowing successful projects to move beyond Pump.fun's launch platform and trade on the decentralised exchange.

Pump.fun recently updated its fee structure and launch rewards to encourage developers to create projects with stronger long-term potential rather than large numbers of short-lived tokens.

A higher graduation rate means more tokens are meeting the platform's requirements to migrate to Raydium for broader market trading.

The changes come as Pump.fun seeks to improve activity after memecoin trading volumes slowed across the Solana ecosystem.

The latest data suggests the revised incentives have increased the proportion of newly launched tokens progressing to the next stage of trading.

At the time of reporting, Solana price was $73.89.
