Armstrong World Industries (NYSE:AWI) reported record second-quarter 2026 net sales, supported by double-digit growth in Architectural Specialties and strong Mineral Fiber performance.
Mineral Fiber results benefited from growth in both average unit value and sales volume, while Architectural Specialties continued to record double-digit revenue growth.
Armstrong World Industries said the quarter delivered solid earnings growth and supported higher expectations across its key full-year financial metrics.
Operating income increased 9% and adjusted EBITDA rose 8%, while diluted net earnings per share advanced 12% and adjusted diluted net earnings per share increased 13%.
The company raised the midpoints of its 2026 guidance across all key metrics and increased its share repurchase authorisation by $800 million through December 2029.
Armstrong World Industries designs and manufactures interior and exterior architectural products, including ceilings, specialty walls and exterior metal solutions across the Americas.
The company plans to support further growth through pricing, volume expansion, product innovation and capital returns as demand develops across its Mineral Fiber and Architectural Specialties businesses.
