Cinemark Holdings (NYSE:CNK) reported record second-quarter 2026 revenue of $1.1 billion, with net income of $141 million, as global box office activity increased.

The company exceeded $1 billion in quarterly revenue for the first time, while attendance reached 64 million moviegoers across its 14-country theatre network and adjusted EBITDA increased to a record level.

Cinemark reported worldwide admissions revenue of $540 million and concession revenue of $433 million, while adjusted EBITDA margin reached 27.1%, supported by higher attendance and revenue performance.

Cinemark also reported diluted earnings per share of $1.19.

The company generated $360 million in operating cash flow and $298 million in free cash flow, ended the quarter with $504 million in cash and reported a net leverage ratio of 2.0x.

Cinemark also repriced its term loan, reducing its interest rate by 25 basis points and lowering annual cash interest expense by $1.6 million, while returning $36 million to shareholders through buybacks and dividends.
