Crypto industry-backed political action committee Fairshake reported holding $193 million in cash ahead of the 2026 US midterm elections, marking a sharp increase in funding as regulatory debates intensify.
The PAC said donations from Ripple, Andreessen Horowitz and Coinbase helped lift its cash on hand by about 37% since its last disclosure in July 2025.
“With the midterms approaching, we are united behind our mission with Fairshake continuing to oppose anti-crypto politicians and support pro-crypto leaders,”
Said Fairshake spokesperson Josh Vlasto.
Fairshake spent more than $130 million supporting pro-crypto candidates and opposing critics in the 2024 federal elections and has signalled it plans to expand its influence heading into 2026.
The PAC operates alongside affiliated groups including Defend American Jobs and Protect Progress, while other crypto-linked committees have also ramped up political spending.
Groups tied to exchanges such as Gemini, Crypto.com and Kraken disclosed millions of dollars in contributions to pro-crypto or pro-Trump super PACs during 2025.
Fairshake has already spent more than $2 million on special congressional elections and is expected to increase spending further as competitive Senate and House races approach.
