Escalade (NASDAQ:ESCA) announced its second-quarter 2026 financial results, highlighted by a 6.2% year-over-year increase in net sales to $57.7 million.
This top-line growth was primarily driven by increased volume in the archery, safety, table tennis, and basketball categories, which offset lower outdoor games sales.
The sporting goods manufacturer expanded its gross margin by 146 basis points to 26.2%, pushing operating income to $11.9 million from $2.6 million in the prior year.
Net income reached $9.4 million, or $0.68 per diluted share, aided significantly by tariff cost recoveries recorded as a separate line item.
Following the announcement, Escalade's share price was down at $19.64.
Excluding the tariff recovery benefit, the business generated an adjusted net income of $2.6 million and an EBITDA of $4.7 million.
The company ended the period with a reduced total debt of $14.9 million and declared a quarterly dividend of $0.1525 per share.
