Revenue fell from $8.46 million as telecommunications revenue dropped 94% to $502,672 because available working capital restricted transaction volumes.
Marketplace revenue rose 9% to $11,939 and advanced technology revenue increased 24% to $135,478, while data analytics generated no revenue.
Gross profit increased 37% to $208,478 and gross margin reached about 32%, although operating expenses remained nearly unchanged at $2.14 million.
Following the announcement, FingerMotion's share price was down 0.4% at approximately $0.36 in premarket trading.
FingerMotion ended May with $987,391 in cash, $4.38 million in working capital and total shareholders’ equity of $13.33 million.
The company used $2.35 million in operating cash and said continued operations depend partly on working-capital management and additional financing.
