Generac (NYSE:GNRC) reported second quarter 2026 net sales of $1.17 billion, up 11% year over year, driven by higher Commercial & Industrial demand.
Commercial & Industrial sales increased 29% to $556 million, while Residential sales declined 2% to $617 million during the quarter.
Generac reported net income attributable to the company of $143 million, or $2.40 per diluted share, compared with $74 million, or $1.25 per share, while adjusted EBITDA reached $291 million.
The company generated $121 million in operating cash flow and $63 million in free cash flow, while adjusted EBITDA margin increased to 24.8% from 17.7%, including a $71 million pre-tax benefit from tariff refunds.
Meanwhile, Generac maintained its 2026 net sales growth outlook in the mid-to-high teens and raised net income margin guidance to 9%–10% and adjusted EBITDA margin guidance to 20%–21%, supported by data centre demand and expanded backlog.
