Genesis Minerals (ASX:GMD) announced a reshuffle of its senior leadership team, appointing Chief Operations Officer Matthew Nixon as the company's new CEO.
Under the new structure, former Managing Director Raleigh Finlayson will transition to the role of executive chair, where he will focus on high-level strategy, leadership development, and a strategic review of the Bardoc project in Western Australia.
The reorganisation is designed to streamline the company's daily operations while accelerating its multi-year expansion plans.
As CEO, Nixon will take over the day-to-day management of the gold producer.
Additionally, Executive Director Duncan Coutts has been named executive director of Operations, a role specifically created to fast-track the development of the Tower Hill mine and other key expansion projects.
Rounding out the board changes, Tony Kiernan will step down as non-executive chairman but will remain with the company as lead independent director.
At the time of reporting, Genesis Minerals’ share price was $8.15.
