Hudbay (NYSE:HBM) reported second quarter 2026 revenue of $631.3 million, net earnings attributable to owners of $137.4 million and adjusted EBITDA of $321.2 million.
The company generated $101.8 million in free cash flow during the quarter, while trailing 12-month adjusted EBITDA reached a record $1.27 billion.
Hudbay produced 28,267 tonnes of copper and 51,234 ounces of gold in Q2 2026, reaffirmed full-year production guidance and improved consolidated cash cost guidance to $(0.45)–$(0.25) per pound of copper.
The company ended the quarter with $1.04 billion in liquidity and negative net debt of $80.5 million, while advancing Copper World, Cactus, New Ingerbelle and Peru mill capacity expansion projects.
Hudbay also announced leadership changes, appointing Eugene Lei as President and Chief Financial Officer and Rob Carter as Chief Operating Officer following its Arizona Sonoran acquisition and ongoing project development activities.
