Innoviva (NASDAQ:INVA) partnered with Dr. Reddy’s Laboratories (NYSE:RDY) to commercialize antibiotic XACDURO across four international territories.

The drug targets Acinetobacter, which the World Health Organization classifies as a critical threat pathogen on its priority list.

Dr. Reddy's will manage all regional development and regulatory filings while paying upfront fees, milestones, and tiered royalties.

Innoviva retains all commercial drug rights in unlicensed territories to maintain its primary focus on disciplined domestic execution.

The U.S. Food and Drug Administration originally approved the intravenous treatment in May 2023 for adults over 18.
