
Scorpio Tankers profit rises to $387.5 million

Scorpio Tankers (NYSE:STNG) reported second-quarter 2026 net income of $387.5 million, or $8.47 per basic share, compared with $73.5 million in the prior-year quarter.
Adjusted net income was $243.7 million, or $5.33 per basic share, excluding vessel sale gains, financing items and transaction costs.
Scorpio Tankers issued $605 million of 1.75% convertible senior notes due 2031, redeemed $200 million of senior unsecured notes and made $389.1 million in unscheduled debt prepayments during the quarter.
The company declared a quarterly dividend of $0.45 per share payable on August 31, 2026.
As of July 28, 2026, Scorpio Tankers held $2 billion in unrestricted cash and cash equivalents and had $483.2 million of available undrawn revolver capacity.
The company also repurchased nearly 2 million shares, sold multiple vessels, committed to additional newbuilding investments and entered a VLCC joint venture during the quarter.
