
Solana Mobile has launched an airdrop of its SKR token for users of the Solana Seeker Web3 smartphone.
The SKR token went live on Wednesday as the utility and governance asset of the Solana Mobile ecosystem.
Eligible Seeker users have 90 days to claim their allocated SKR tokens.
Claimed SKR tokens can be staked immediately to earn rewards.
The airdrop covers more than 100,000 users and 188 developers.
Nearly 2 billion SKR tokens were distributed to the community, valued at about $26.6 million at launch.
Solana Seeker is an Android-based crypto-focused smartphone launched in August 2025.
The device features a dedicated decentralised app store and native integration with the Solana ecosystem.
SKR has a fixed supply of 10 billion tokens and is issued as a Solana Program Library asset.
The token is designed to support governance, rewards, security initiatives, and platform access.
SKR rose roughly 38% following launch, trading near $0.013 at the time of reporting.
“Staked SKR starts earning immediately, with inflation events every 48 hours and 0% commission upon launch,”
Solana Mobile said.
