The Sui Foundation has launched the USDsui stablecoin on the Sui mainnet in partnership with Bridge.
The stablecoin is issued through infrastructure from Stripe and is designed to support decentralised finance applications and cross-border payments.
USDsui integrates with several DeFi applications and wallets within the Sui ecosystem, allowing users to access the token across trading, lending, and liquidity services.
The token is built for high-volume payments, enabling fast settlement with predictable fees while keeping transactions entirely within the Sui network.
In January 2026, the Sui blockchain processed more than $111 billion in stablecoin transfers, highlighting rising demand for payment infrastructure on the network.
The issuance framework used by Bridge includes enterprise controls and compliance features intended to help institutions oversee digital asset operations.
Institutional interest in the ecosystem has grown, with investment firms including Bitwise Asset Management, Franklin Templeton, Grayscale Investments, and VanEck launching products tied to the Sui network.
At the time of reporting, Sui price was $0.9481.
