
UMC Q4 2025 results: revenue jumps 4.5%, as 22nm hits record

Taiwan-based United Microelectronics (NYSE:UMC), a leading global semiconductor foundry, today announced consolidated operating results for the fourth quarter of 2025.
Revenue reached NT$61.81 billion, rising 4.5% from NT$59.13 billion in the third quarter and 2.4% compared with the year-ago period.
Consolidated gross margin stood at 30.7%.
Net income attributable to shareholders of the parent was NT$10.06 billion, with earnings per ordinary share of NT$0.81.
During the period under review, the 22/28nm technology nodes contributed 36% of quarterly revenue, reflecting continued demand for mature process technologies in automotive, industrial, and consumer applications.
Additionally, capacity utilization rate averaged 78% during the period.
