
VEON revenue rallies 17% to $1.27 billion

VEON (NASDAQ:VEON) reported second-quarter 2026 revenue of $1.27 billion, up 17% year over year, as digital services growth supported overall performance.
EBITDA increased 6.2% to $552 million, while first-half 2026 EBITDA rose 11.5% to $1.07 billion, with digital revenue reaching $342 million.
Digital revenue accounted for 26.9% of group revenue and generated a 36.1% EBITDA margin, while equity free cash flow reached $74 million in the quarter and $320 million for the first half of 2026.
VEON raised its 2026 guidance for revenue growth to 15%–18% and EBITDA growth to 9%–12%.
The company reported profit for the period of $140 million, down 77% year over year, mainly due to prior-year one-off items and a $21 million fair value loss on KGL warrants.
VEON also repurchased approximately $82.6 million of shares under its current $100 million program and plans to cancel at least $100 million of shares and ADSs annually.
